2014 marked the sixty-ninth year since the Liberation of Germany in the Second World War which allied forces claimed victory in Europe. The Patriarchal Parishes in the USA prayerfully commemorated the holiday with Divine Services and theatrical preformences to commemorate "Victory Day".

On Saturday May 10, 2014, the Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA, His Eminence Justinian Archbishop of Naro-Fominsk preformed an Archpastoral Visit to St. George Church in Palmerton PA to congratulate parishioners with their Patronal Feastday which fell on May 6.

On Friday, May 9, 2014 Priest Stephen Kaznica was invited by Passaic NJ's Fire Chief Patrick Trentacost Sr. to give the invocation at the annual memorial service for their fallen brother and sister firefighters, including those who perished in the line of duty.
