At the meeting of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church on March 20, 2025, a new version of the Akathist to St. Tikhon was approved for liturgical and private use. This Akathist was offered in connection with the 100th anniversary of the repose of St. Tikhon.

On Lazarus Saturday, April 11, Priest Paul Davis, rector of St. Nicholas Church in Brookside, AL served a moleben for the Cessation of Death-bearing Pestilence and performed an automobile cross-procession where he blessed the town in response to the Coronavirus pandemic.

During the months of August and September, the parish community of St. Innocent of Irkutsk Church in Redford, MI has been quite festive with a number of celebrations much to the joy of its parishioners.

One major casuality of this earthquake is the single parish directly under the jurisdiction of the Moscow Patriarchate in the nation - the parish of the Protection of the Mother of God in a suburb of the capital.

On December 3, His Holiness Kirill, Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia hosted the delegation from the Orthodox Church in America headed by her Primate, His Beatitude Tikhon, Metropolitan of all America and Canada at the Patriarchal Residence in Danilov Monastery in Moscow. 

On December 2, 2014, His Beatitude Tikhon, Archbishop of Washington, Metropolitan of All America and Canada, Primate of the Orthodox Church in America, began his official visit to the Russian Orthodox Church.

On December 1st,  Priest Stephen Kaznica and parishioners of Sts. Peter & Paul Cathedral delivered over 100 toys that the parish had collected on behalf of the Passaic, NJ Fire Department's annual toy drive.

On November 7, Metropolitan Hilarion participated in the Russian-US Forum of Christian Leaders taking place in Charlotte, NC. The forum was organized by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and instrumental in organizing the arrival of many representatives of Christian churches in Russia and the United States.

With the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion, First Hierarch of the Russian Church Abroad, and His Grace Bishop John of Naro-Fominsk,  the Synodal Youth Department of ROCOR is operating a food drive in the parishes of the New York City Deanery of the Eastern American Diocese together with parishes of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA.

The Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of the United States of America commenced its fifth annual meeting Monday, September 15, with a Pan-Orthodox Clergy-Laity Gathering in Dallas, Texas.

On Thursday September 11, on the Feast of the Beheading of St. John the Baptist, the Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA His Grace Bishop John of Naro-Fominsk celebrated the Divine Liturgy in St. Nicholas Cathedral in NYC co-served by His Grace Bishop Nicholas of Manhattan (ROCOR).

On ‘this chosen and holy Day’ when the world ‘that is visible and invisible’ (see: the Canon of Holy Pascha) glorifies the Prince of life and Victor over death, I send my heartfelt greetings to all of you through the Paschal exclamation: CHRIST IS RISEN!

This is the day of resurrection. Let us be illumined by the feast. Let us embrace each other. Let us call "brothers" even those that hate us, and forgive all by the resurrection, and so let us cry: Christ is Risen from the Dead!

During Bright Week, the editors of the website will be publishing photographs of the Divine Services during Holy Week and Pascha. This is a wonderful opportunity for visitors to the website to become aquatinted with the different celebrations held in our Patriarchal Parishes in the USA.

During Great Lent of 2014, the Council of Orthodox Christian Churches of Metro-Detroit, Michigan, continued its long-standing tradition of holding joint Inter-Orthodox Lenten Vespers on Sunday evenings at various metro-Detroit churches on each of the five Sundays of Great Lent. 

On April 12-13, Clergy and faithful across the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA prayerfully commemorated the Feast of the Entry of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ into the Holy City of Jerusalem. 

Tickets are now on sale for the festal banquet being held at Sts. Peter and Paul Cathedral in Passaic NJ at the conclusion of the Hierarchal Divine Liturgy on Bright Saturday, April 26. 

On Friday, March 21st, 2014, the Annual Lenten Clergy Retreat of the St. John Chrysostom Clergy Brotherhood of Metro-Detroit was held at St. Innocent Orthodox Church in Redford, Michigan.

On Tuesday, April 8, a regular meeting of the Bishop's Council of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA was held in St. Michael the Archangel Church in Philadelphia, PA, presided over by the Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA, His Eminence Justinian, Archbishop of Naro-Fominsk. 

The Official English language website of the Patriarchal Parishes of the USA has officially opened. With the blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Justinian of Naro-Fominsk, Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA, this website was created to better suit the needs of the English speaking community of the Patriarchal Parishes and its visitors.
