Bishop John Celebrates a Moleben Before The Relics of His Heavenly Patron

On Sunday Evening, August 17, at the invitation of His Eminence Kirill, Archbishop of San Francisco and the West (ROCOR), the Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA, His Grace John Bishop of Naro-Fominsk celebrated a Moleben before the Relics of his Heavenly Patron, St. John (Maximovitch), Archbishop of Shanghai and San Francisco in the Cathedral of the Mother of God "Joy of all Who Sorrow" (ROCOR). 

His Grace was co-served by Priest Leonid Kazakov, Rector of St. Nicholas Cathedral in San Francisco. At the conclusion of the Moleben, His Grace greeted Archbishop Kirill and thanked him for the invitation to serve before the Relics of his Heavenly Patron as well as for the invitation to serve at the Cathedral of the Transfiguration in Los Angeles, California for its Patronal Feastday on August 18-19. In memory of Bishop John's first visit to the Cathedral of the Mother of God "Joy of all Who Sorrow", Archbishop Kirill was gifted with an exact copy of the cross of St. Sergius of Radonezh.
