Bishop John Visits St. Michael Church in Philadelphia

On Sunday November 16, the 23rd Sunday after Pentecost, the Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA, His Grace Bishop John of Naro-Fominsk presided over the Divine Liturgy in St. Michael Church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 

His Grace was co-served by the parish's rector and dean of the Atlantic States, Archpriest Vincent Saverino and parish cleric, Priest Gregory Winsky as well as clerics accompanying Bishop John.

At the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, Bishop John delivered a sermon on the theme of the Sunday Gospel reading to the great number of parishioners who flocked to the temple. Afterwards, His Grace congratulated the parish on its upcoming Patronal Feastday of the Synaxis of St. Michael the Archangel. Commemorating his visit to the parish, Vladyka gifted the parish with a set of liturgical aers. 

Interaction between the Archpastor and parishioners continued in the parish hall during which a concert was performed under the direction of the parish council.
