Bishop John Celebrates Divine Liturgy in Holy Trinity Church in Istanbul

On the Second Sunday after Pentecost - of all the Saints Glorified in the Lands of Rus', the Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA, His Grace Bishop John of Naro-Fominsk presided at the Slavonic Divine Liturgy in the Holy Trinity Church in Istanbul.

His Grace was co-served by Archimandrite Vissarion (Komzias, director of the Patriarchal Library of the Ecumenical Patriarchate)

After the Dismissal, Bishop John sang the magnification before the icon of all the Saints Glorified in the Lands of Rus'.

Archimandrite Vissarion then thanked Bishop John for his visit on behalf of the Ecumenical Patriarch. Bishop John then asked that Archimandrite Vissarion extend his gratitude to Patriarch Bartholomew for allowing the Divine Liturgy to be served for the Russian mission in Istanbul and presented the parish with an icon of St. Seraphim of Sarov.

The hierarch, clergy and parishioners then had an opportunity to interact during the meal outside the church building.
