Bishop John Leads Divine Services for the Third Sunday of Lent in St. Nicholas Cathedral

On Sunday April 3, the Third Sunday of Great Lent, the Veneration of the Life-Giving Cross, the Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA, His Grace Bishop John of Naro-Fominsk led the Divine Liturgy in St. Nicholas Cathedral in New York City. 

After the reading of the Holy Gospel, Bishop John delivered a sermon on the theme of the appointed Gospel reading. 

The previous evening, Bishop John led the All-Night Vigil co-served by cathedral clergy. After the singing of the Great Doxology, the Holy Cross was brought to the center of the cathedral.
