Bishop John Serves Liturgy in St. Catherine Representation Church with the Primate of the OCA

On Saturday, November 19, the Primate of the Orthodox Church in America, His Beatitude Tikhon, Metropolitan of all America and Canada led the Divine Liturgy in St. Catherine Representation Church in Moscow. His Beatitude was co-served by Bishop John of Naro-Fominsk, Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA; Bishop Daniel of Santa-Rosa, vicar of the Diocese of the West; clerics of the delegation to the Russian Orthodox Church and clerics of the parish. 

Also attending the Divine Liturgy was the Ambassador of Canada to the Russian Federation, Mr. John Kur. 

During the Divine Liturgy, prayers were raised for the newly-departed Archimandrite Alexander (Pihach), representative of the Orthodox Church in America to the Russian Orthodox Church and rector of St. Catherine Church who reposed suddenly on October 7 of this year.
