Bishop John Meets with Newly-Appointed Russian Ambassador to the United Nations

On Thursday evening, August 17, the Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA, His Grace Bishop John of Naro-Fominsk, met with the newly-appointed Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the United Nations, Vasily Nebenzya. 

Bishop John congratulated the Ambassador on his recent July 27th appointment and wished him God's help in his duties. Bishop John and Vasily Alekseyevich discussed a number of topics of mutual interest, including upcoming events involving Bishop John's participation in, as the representative of the Russian World Peoples Council to the United Nations. At the conclusion of the meeting, Bishop John presented the Ambassador with an icon of the Heavenly Patrons of North America.
