On Sunday, July 29, the feast of the Fathers of the Sixth Ecumenical Council, the Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA, Bishop John of Naro-Fominsk celebrated Divine Liturgy in St. Nicholas Cathedral in New York City. His Grace was co-served by cathedral clergy.

During the Liturgy, Bishop John ordained Deacon Daniel Sobolev (cleric of St. Gregory the Theologian Church in Tampa, FL) to the Holy Priesthood. After the reading of the Holy Gospel, Bishop John addressed the faithful with a sermon.

During the Augmented Litany, Bishop John raised prayers for Peace in Ukraine.
