In connection with the adoption of emergency measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection COVID-19 by the authorities of New York of , the administration of the cathedral calls for all measures to help stop the further spread of the dangerous disease.
We treat with understanding and humility the emergency measures that the authorities are taking, including the closure of all places of mass gathering. In this regard, divine services in St. Nicholas Cathedral will be conducted by those clergymen who currently reside at the church, in compliance with all special hygenie instructions prescribed by the Hierarchy for the period of quarantine.
