On June 28, a work meeting of the Administration of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA took place in Three Saints Church in Garfield, New Jersey, between Chancellor Archpriest George Konyev, Vice-Chancellor Priest Mark Rashkov, the secretary of the Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA, Abbot Nicodemus (Balyasnikov) and Director of the Media Office, Reader George Konyev.

The current affairs of the parishes were discussed, including various incoming documents. As a result of the meeting, proposals and questions were formally sent to Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, Interim Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA & Canada.

At the end of the meeting, the participants congratulated Archpriest George on his birthday, and presented him with a commemorative gift on behalf of Bishop Matthew - a jeweled pectoral cross.
