On Sunday, February 12, 2023, on the feast of the Three Holy Hierarchs, with the blessing of the Interim Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA, Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, Chancellor of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA, Archpriest Igor Vyzhanov, visited Sts. Peter & Paul Church in Manchester, NH, where he concelebrated with the rector of the church, Archpriest Alexander Androsov, at the Divine Liturgy. Vice-Chancellor of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA and Acting Dean of the Eastern States Priest Mark Rashkov also took part in the service.
At the end of the Divine Liturgy, Father Igor conveyed blessings and good wishes to the parish from His Holiness Patriarch Kyrill of Moscow and All Rus' and Bishop Matthew, expressing gratitude to the clergy and parishioners for the joy of prayerful communion and hospitality. Also, in consideration of his diligent labors for the benefit of the Russian Orthodox Church in North America, with the blessing of Bishop Matthew, Father Igor presented Archpriest Alexander Androsov with the Decree on awarding him the right to serve the Divine Liturgy with Open Royal Doors until the Cherubic Hymn, previously signed by His Holiness the Patriarch for Pascha 2021.
Communication between the clergy and parishioners continued at a fraternal meal.
In the afternoon, Archpriest Igor Vyzhanov and Priest Mark Rashkov arrived at the Monastery of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA in honor of the Great Martyr Demetrius of Thessalonica in the city of Frammingham, MA, where they venerated the shrines of the church in honor of St. John of Shanghai and talked with the inhabitants of the monastery. The acting rector of the monastery, Hieromonk Savvaty (Ageev), spoke about the history and modern life of the revived monastery.
