On December 25, 2024, the Interim Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA and Canada, Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, visited St. Nicholas Patriarchal Cathedral in San Francisco, where, in the presence of cathedral dean and dean of the Western States, Priest Mikhail Kozyrev, the members of the administration of the parishes of the Moscow Patriarchate in the USA who accompanied the bishop on the trip, and the bishop’s personal secretary Nikolai Trubnikov, he served a thanksgiving moleben and venerated the holy relics of the cathedral.

The bishop discussed with the clergy the results of the visit and plans for the coming year. The archpastor also warmly thanked Priest Mikhail, the clergy and parishioners for the warm welcome and assistance in organizing the visit, after which he departed for London.
