From Monday the 14th through Thursday the 17th of September, the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of the United States of America held its annual meeting in Chicago, Illinois. 

On Saturday September 5, the Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA, His Grace Bishop John of Naro-Fominsk participated in the events surrounding the Canonization of Sts. Sebastian and Mardarije in the Serbian Orthodox Cathedral of St. Stephen in Alhambra, CA.

From September 4-7, 45 pilgrims from the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA joined in pilgrims from the Mid-American Diocese of ROCOR, walked from Holy Dormition Monastery in Rives Junction, Michigan in a 22-mile, two-day Cross Procession to St. Vladimir Russian Orthodox Church in Ann Arbor MI.

On Sunday, September 6, the Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA, His Grace Bishop John of Naro-Fominsk, visited the Diocesan Cathedral of the Icon of the Holy Virgin "Joy of all who Sorrow"(ROCOR), in San Francisco, CA.

On Saturday, September 5, while visiting the West Coast of the United States, the Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA, His Grace Bishop John on Naro-Fominsk visited the Cathedral of the Holy Transfiguration in Los Angeles, California.
